Wet Hair Trouble

Your hair is way more sensitive when it's wet. It can snap and pull out much easier, especially if your hair was just washed in warm or hot water because the cuticles in your hair are open and haven't gotten the chance to cool down and close again. Be extra gentle with your hair during the period when your hair is wet. Here are some tips on how to be extra careful with your hair while it's wet.

-Use a wide tooth plastic comb while your hair is wet to smooth it out. Once your hair is dry switch to a good brush.
-Avoid wooden combs. These can have microscopic divots in them and can damage and tear and your hair.

If you're sleeping with wet hair here are some simple steps to wake up looking like you slept hours on your hair, when really all you did was sleep.

1. Wash and towel dry your hair.
2. Spray some protectant  treatment spray in your hair.
3. Spray some volumizing spray in your hair.
4. Comb through your hair with a wide tooth plastic comb.
5. Twist your hair into a tight ballerina bun.
6 Secure the bun with a hair tie or scunchie.
7. When you wake up in the morning let you hair down and shake out those beautiful,
    natural looking beach waves!

Got Tangles?

Finding that when you wake up in the morning that your hair is full of knots?! There are a few easy ways to fix this problem without having to pull your hair out!

TRY SLEEPING ON A SATIN PILLOW CASE;
this causes less friction between your hair and the hard fabric and allows your hair to just smothly run over it without getting stuck!
TRY A DE-TANGLING SPRAY;
If you're hair is still all tangled then buy a de-tangling spray. Drench your tangle in it then use a wide tooth comb to work through the knot. Once it's almost out switch to a fine tooth comb to finish it off!
MAKE SURE YOUR HAIR IS KNOT FREE BEFORE BED;
Most people don't see a point in brushing their hair just to get in bed and mess it up again, but by brushing it out before hand you might avoid a mess in the morning!
